Tour Itinerary: (The guide will take you to Angkor Thom
and Angkor Wat, the main feature of Angkor history. The rest
of the tour can be determined by each individual's interest of
Angkor.) Day 1: Angkor Wat Temple, Angkor
Thom, Bayon, Terrace of Elephants, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Terrace of
Leper King Day 2: Bantey Srey, Banteay Samre,
Srah Srang, Taprom, Takeo, Thommanon, Watching sunset on the Phnom Bakheng Day 3: Preah Khan, Neak Pean,
Tasom, Mebon, Temples in Roluos Group ( or Les Artisants D'angkor or Silk
farm)
Tour vehicles
Visiting Angkor temples and surrounding areas You can customize your tour itinerary based on your plan so that you have
a good time to explore and study. If you have read about
Angkor prior to your tour, you will be overwhelmed when you start
the tour. There are too many temples and places to explore and
visit. However, the tour guide understands your needs and
ensure you have the best out of your Angkor visit. The tour vehicle
that is equipped with air conditioning always follow you during the
tour and you can go back to your vehicle any time you need to relax.
A visitor should expect a long walk. Please be prepared.
If you want to extend your tour to other temples
outside of Angkor complex, an extra charge will be added to your
daily tour rate due to longer distance driving.
Each visitor is required to pay $5 for entering
Tonley Sap floating village tour area and $10 for the touring
boat. For Preak Toal bird sacntuary, the visitor is
required to pay an entrance fee of $40 charged by the sanctuary conservation authority.
Angkor visitor pass: Foreign visitors are required to pay
for Angkor visitor pass charged by
APSARA,
Angkor Conservation and Management agency.
For children under 12 years old, the entry is free. Children
of 12 years and older are required to pay a full price.
Note about Kulen waterfall and car parking: The distance
from parking to the waterfall depends on how busy it is and how
early you arrive at the tour site. The distance ranges from
300 meters to 1,000 meters. So, be prepared for a long walk to
the tour site.
